We build the furniture we write about
Most furniture review sites have never touched a gas strut, graded a plywood sheet, or watched a sofa-bed mechanism cycle 10,000 times on a test rig. We have — because it comes off our own line.
Who we are
Homemellix is the guide desk of a family furniture factory that has produced sofas and beds for export to the United States and Europe for over a decade. We make space-saving furniture for a living: pull-out sofa beds, click-clack convertibles, hydraulic storage beds, and drawer-base frames.
How our recommendations work
- Line-level verification. Before we recommend a mechanism type, we check it on our own production and cycling tests — not on a render.
- Materials first. We publish the specs other sites skip: frame board grade, foam density, strut brand, hardware gauge.
- No pay-to-play. Products cannot buy a placement. Retail links (Amazon / Walmart) help fund the site but never change a verdict.
- Corrections are public. If we get something wrong, we fix it at the top of the article with the date and what changed.
Photo & teardown policy
All teardown photos on Homemellix are taken in our own facility. When we review a third-party product, we say so clearly and label the images accordingly. You will never see a stock rendering presented as a "hands-on" test.
Where we ship
Our factory currently exports to the US and EU markets, sold through Amazon and Walmart storefronts. The guides here exist for one reason: so buyers can tell a good piece of space-saving furniture from a bad one before it's assembled in their living room.
